Body Control Pilates Matwork Teacher Training (Extended) Course
Gain a qualification to teach people Pilates. Did I Need to do the course? Not sure as I already have a Certification in Post Compulsory Education so am qualified to teach but in my head that was for computing have realised since that the principles of teaching I learnt about during that course I use in every Pilates class I teach. The course I chose was with Body Control Pilates as my teacher trained with them and she’s fab. The BCP course is quite comprehensive in terms of preparing you to teach and checking your teaching so I liked that thoroughness.
I chose to what is called the extended version of the course which meant that the course was taught every other weekend over a period of 3 months. This meant that I got some time between the taught days to process what I had learnt. Each day had a different theme:

Supervised teaching I mainly did this with Julie Neville who is based in Hook Hampshire. The closer I got to undertaking my final exam the more variety of teachers I taught for.

Course Description
The First Aid at Work training course, which conforms with HSE guidance, provides a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces, giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.
